PRIVACY POLICY
Last modified 05/08/2020
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed by TheCGBros (“We”) with respect to your access and use on or from or through the website (“Website) by TheCGBros or on or from or through any channel operated by TheCGBros, including but not limited to, our YouTube channel titled “TheCGBros,” on any other service or media streaming service or media player (collectively the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you (“You,” “User,” or “Your”) acknowledge that You have read this Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions described herein, including TheCGBros’ Terms of Use (add link) and, if applicable, TheCGBros’ Content Submission Agreement (add link).
Information We Collect and How We Use It
We collect certain information from You through your use of the Service, from figuring out basic stuff like which language You speak, to more complex things like which advertisements might be most useful to You, the type of content You upload or view, and the people You communicate with through the Service.
We use the information We collect from the Service to provide, maintain, protect, and improve it, to develop new services, and to protect our Users. We also use this information to offer tailored content, such as suggestions for other content You may be interested in and providing more relevant advertisements.
When You contact TheCGBros, a record of the communication may be kept to help solve any issues You might be facing. We may use Your email address to inform You about our services, such as letting You know about upcoming changes or improvements.
We will ask for Your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.
We want You to be comfortable using the Service so We have described in detail below what information We collect and how it is used.
Information You Provide to Us:
When You use the Service, limited information is collected about You based on what You choose to allow TheCGBros to track. For example, many of our services require You to sign up for an account on TheCGBros Platform. When You do, We may ask for personal information, such as your name, email address, interests and skills to set up Your account profile.
We may use the name You provide for Your profile with TheCGBros across all of the services We offer that require an account with TheCGBros. If You choose to upload content such as comments or other information that identifies You, onto TheCGBros Platform, We may show them on Your publicly visible profile information, such as Your name.
If You have an account with TheCGBros, We may display Your name and actions You take on TheCGBros Platform or on third-party applications connected to Your account (such as reviews You write and comments You post on the Service). We will respect the choices You make to limit sharing or visibility settings in Your account with TheCGBros. You are always in control of the privacy settings of your account profile. Note that your account profile is set by default to private.
We collect additional information about the services that You use and how You use them. We may use this additional information to tailor TheCGBros Platform and communications to Your interests. We may also share this additional information with advertisers on an anonymous and aggregated basis (i.e., without telling the advertisers Your personal information or identity). One of the reasons We may do this is to increase the likelihood that our advertisers’ goods and services will appeal to You as a user of TheCGBros Platform. Our sharing of additional information internally or with advertisers is anonymous (this means: We do not tell advertisers which of our specific Users are a part of which demographic groups), subject to the rest of this Privacy Policy. When You respond to an advertisement, however, We ask You to remember that if that ad is targeted to a demographic group and You decide to give the advertiser Your personal information, then the advertiser may be able to identify You as being a member of that demographic group. This information also includes:
Log Information
When You use the Service or view content provided by Us, We automatically collect and store certain information on our servers. This includes information such as:
details of how You used our Service;
telephone information like your phone number; or
internet protocol address (or “IPA”).
Location Information
When You use the Service, We may collect and process information about Your actual location using various technologies, including IP address, GPS, and other sensors.
We may need to send You announcements and account-related messages. These are considered part of the Service, and You are not able to opt-out of receiving these messages.
Information Learned from Your Device:
We collect device-specific information (such as Your hardware model, operating system version, and mobile network information including phone number). TheCGBros may associate Your device or phone number with Your account with TheCGBros.
When You use the Service, it will receive and store information about Your actual location (using the GPS coordinates sent by Your mobile device, if Your mobile device was used to access the Service) or Your approximate location (such as from a Wi-Fi network or other network location points), and the length of time You spent in that location. Use of GPS and Wi-Fi services are subject to the default terms and conditions provided by Your mobile phone carrier. You should refer to Your service provider’s privacy policy to understand what type of information those services collect.
TheCGBros can record the places You visited and how long you stayed, by running in the background (or foreground), whenever Your mobile device is turned ON, even if You switch to another website, browser application, or sleep Your device.
We use location and time data from all Users of the Service to create anonymous, aggregate data, for purposes including but not limited to identifying trends, determining popular online or digital venues, and improving the TheCGBros experience.
Information Learned From Your Use of the Service:
We collect information about how You use the Service. This information includes general usage statistics, including but not limited to information such as how often You use the Service, or when You perform certain actions TheCGBros finds interesting. We use this information in aggregate form to improve and enhance the experience of using the Service.
What Are Cookies?
We use cookies to keep track of certain actions that You take (e.g., logging into Your account) and for other purposes like personalizing the Website. Cookies are a small piece of information stored by Your internet browser to Your computer’s hard drive. Your browser is usually set up to initially accept cookies.
Opting Out of Cookies
If You set Your browser to reject cookies, the Website may not be able to recognize Your account or any personalization. We do not use cookies to gather Your confidential information that may be stored on Your hard drive.
How We Share Your Information with Others
We will not share the personal information We have collected from You, except as described below:
● when You give us Your consent to do so, for example, when We tell You that the information You provide will be shared in some way and You provide us that information;
● when We believe We are authorized or legally required to do so or that doing so is necessary or appropriate to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request; enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations; detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of TheCGBros, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
● in connection with any merger, transfer or sale of company assets, financing, acquisition, or similar transaction or circumstance; or
● to enforce or apply our Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, or our other policies or agreements.
● With Your Consent: We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of TheCGBros when We have Your consent to do so. Note that uploading content to the Service constitutes Your express consent for that information to be shared.
● For external processing: We provide personal information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
Do Not Track
Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference Users can set if they do not want web services to collect information about their online activity. However, there is currently no universal standard for sending and receiving DNT signals. Due to this lack of universal standard, it would be impossible for us to promise that We comply with all known and unknown DNT standards.
Therefore, TheCGBros does not in any way monitor or respond to DNT signals or other mechanisms that provide a choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about activities over time and across different websites or online services.
If a universal standard for DNT becomes available, We may revisit our DNT Policy.
Sharing Content with Third Party Services
The Service may feature direct integration with a variety of social networking services, such as Twitter or Facebook, enabling Users to share the activities tracked by TheCGBros with those services. TheCGBros will only share information with social networking services that the User chooses to share. Users are responsible for the content they choose to share, and are bound by the respective terms of service and privacy policy for each social networking service. TheCGBros has no responsibility to provide or maintain integration with any particular third party service.
Accessing Your Information
You can view the location and time data collected from within TheCGBros. Where We can provide information access and correction, We will do so at no additional cost, except where it would require a disproportionate effort.
If You would like TheCGBros to delete Your personal information that has been collected, please contact us with Your request. At our sole discretion, We may take the necessary steps to delete Your information if We find that doing is so is practical.
When updating Your personal information, We may ask You to verify Your identity before We can act on Your request. Some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records and as otherwise required by law.
How We Protect Your Information
Remember that when You share information publicly, it may be indexed by search engines. Although our services provide You with different options on sharing and removing Your content, be aware that once any content is shared on the Internet, it may be extremely difficult to remove it completely or permanently.
That being said, We employ administrative, physical, and electronic measures designed to protect Your information from unauthorized access. However, despite those efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other types of misuse.
Links to Other Sites
TheCGBros may contain links to other services, apps, and sites not operated by us (We refer to these as “Other Sites”). Any information You provide on those Other Sites is provided directly to whoever owns that site and is subject to their privacy policy. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to those Other Sites, and We are not responsible for the content You provide to, or the privacy and security practices and policies of, Other Sites.
Removal of Information from Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If We learn that We have collected the personal information of a child under 18, We will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
Any information that is collected is subject to our Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may, however, modify and revise our Privacy Policy from time to time and we will post any changes to this page.
In the event of a significant modification to the Privacy Policy, We will send a notification to You through a push notification or email that a change has occurred. It is required that You accept the revised Privacy Policy before continuing to use the Service. By accepting changes to the policy, You are agreeing to be bound by the revised policy.
Questions or Concerns
Please contact us if You have any questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy.
